I'm a Christian Songwriter who started building guitars before really playing them.
I heard my main influence, Eddie Van Halen, and I was driven to learn everything about building you own axe and his style of playing.
I could not afford a guitar at the time, so I joined a building trades class in high school.
I built my first guitar from scratch, using planks of oak wood. Its one ugly plank of wood.
lol
Rock music was my reason to live and it kept me out of trouble way back then because I practiced 12 hours a day.
I didn’t have a stereo, so I would listen to 8 tracks on my dad’s player in his car.
That got me into a lot of trouble when my old man's car wouldn't start in the morning.
I've been playing since I was 16 in local bands playing covers but always wanted to do my own material.
I played for large festivals such as the Sombrero Fest in South Texas and several other venues in South Padre Island TX.
My music credits include music for a PBS video titled, "A Bend in a Mexican River," some pieces for three indie films titled, "El Chisme and The Eternal Decision" with Indie Godmother in San Antonio, and "Holy Toast" with California filmmaker Ken Morales.
I also compose music for all of my wife's book promos and websites.
I'm also currently working on music for my wife's audio-book and music for her 1st book scheduled to be released soon: www.heartofthejaguar.com.
I’m thankful that GOD has given me a gift and enjoying sharing with others a positive message.
